Museum Galleries

 The Introductory Gallery provides  an overview of Dwight D.  Eisenhower's life from his boyhood  in Abilene to the end of WWII in  1945. Introductory Gallery

 

Temporary Gallery  The Temporary Gallery exhibits  change from time to time and are  on varied themes.

 

 The Mamie Eisenhower  Gallery exhibits Mamie's  life, emphasizing her role as  First Lady.

Military Gallery  The Military Gallery features  documents, photographs and  objects which interpret the role of  Eisenhower as Supreme Commander  and of the men and women who  served during World War II.

 

 The recently renovated  Presidential Gallery details the  history of the Eisenhower  administration, 1953-1961, and  includes many computerized  interactive displays and learning  centers, along with a 1950s fallout  shelter, the Plaza Theater marquee,  a 1950s living room, and a replica of  Eisenhower's Gettysburg retirement  office.
